"We used Andrew for a month long board and training for our six month old German Shepherd Bodhi and have nothing to say but amazing positive reviews. Andrew was clear about what to expect, and his plans for communication and he did what he said and more. We got a minimum of once weekly videos, and many text and emails. When we did our training hand over with our dog, it went amazing. He was still "our" dog, just way better trained. You could tell he was happy and treated well, yet respected and obeyed commands. In the several days and weeks following bringing our dog home, Andrew followed up with text and emails checking on progress, giving tips and follow up training. With very minimal continued training at home, we have a very well trained puppy that I feel prepared to grow with the skills Andrew has taught us.
Thank you Andrew! Amazing job!"

"In August of 2014 I had the pleasure of going to K-9 trainer school in Southern Pines, North Carolina. I was there for a month and got fantastic training from multiple instructors. Andrew was the trainer I spent the most time with and introduced me to many facets of K- 9 instruction I was not familiar with. I am a Police Officer and Veteran K-9 handler and Andrew helped me with my personal dog and taught me introduction techniques for training working dogs. Imprinting, obedience, tracking, building searches, and decoy work, were just some of the areas we covered during my visit. Andrew was a true professional. He was patient, to the point, and most of all competent in all of his training methods. I am now finished with my second K-9 school as an instructor and have graduated 17 working dog teams onto the street. All of which have certified under National Narcotic Detector Dog and American Working Dog titles. I could not have accomplished this without his assistance."

"Being a horse trainer I understand the importance for an animal with strength to work well with its partner. Being a first time Doberman owner I wanted to make sure my dog was responsive and trained appropriately for his surroundings. Andrew was patient and informative in the beginning stages teaching the proper commands and body language. As our knowledge and training progressed Andrew expected more accuracy yet he was patient when Tyson and I weren't communicating on the same page. Training sessions are a productive and positive experience that leaves the dog walking away with a confident understanding of their job. You will walk away from each session feeling accomplished."

We initially had wanted to train our dog to not do the typical things; counter surfing, jumping up on people, and begging for food to name a few. Just another sport dog did this and so much more. Our awesome pup has become more than a pet she is a companion. She wants to stay beside my husband and I on walks until she is released. Then she explores her area but always checking in and staying at a safe distance. She heels and returns to us when called and food is no longer her only motivation. She has discipline, and seeks our guidance instead of marching to the beat of her own drum. And the things like counter surfing have fallen to the wayside. And, should we ever run into any issues down the road, we take solace knowing that the support of Just Another Sport Dog is just a phone call away.

Olivia entered our lives as a skinny, boisterous stray.
Having 2 canine senior citizens in the household was a deciding factor in finding help with Olivia.
She has great spirit and energy.
Andrew has a wonderful way with dogs. Her spirit is still lively and engaging, but now she wants to please. He has helped immensely with her progress.
And he is also a patient, knowledgable owner coach!
If you want to own a wonderful canine citizen and family member I recommend you get in touch with Andrew.
"Andrew and I have worked together on several police and military contracts, including canine programs of some of the most highly revered domestic and international special operations forces. He is a very talented and hardworking trainer. As an instructor, Andrew is articulate, concise, entertaining, and efficient. He has the rare ability to observe very complex training issues, distill them to their most basic parts, and develop and implement a plan to effectively reach the desired outcome. I highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking to take his or her training to the next level."

Andrew did what we thought was impossible. Our dog was crazy hyper, distracted easily, and had the uncontrollable habit of urinating out of excitement. When Andrew took on the task of training our pup he was supremely confident that he could guide her to become a well behaved and well manored dog. His confidence led us to trust him with our dog's training and well being for 30 days.
Andrew definitely delivered!
He was more than accommodating - answering any and all questions, and even addressing concerns we had right up front. He provided updates throughout the process and even videos showing how well our pup was progressing. We were able to visit whenever we wanted, even on short notice. And when Andrew handed our dog over to us, he walked us through all commands and training he had done, allowing us to continue improving and teaching our dog. He continues to guide us through proper training. And our dog has transformed. She listens and focuses better than ever. She is still her fun loving hyper self, but now she is under control. She can focus and listen, she behaves well with distractions, can be let off leash, and has unbelievably learned to control the excitement urinating (that alone is worth the money).
I can't say enough good things about Andrew and the progress he made with our dog. I would recommend him to any and everyone, no matter what type of dog you have. Andrew's resume is impressive but he has the people skills to accommodate all types of dog owners, not just the actual dogs he trains.
